September, 2018- The Depot Church, a community of St. Andrew’s, named Carl Torgerson to its founding staff as Worship and Arts Director. “St. Andrew’s has always had a strength in its music and worship experience and I believe Torgerson will bring that excellence to The Depot Church in Hugo,” said Pastor Brian Norsman.
EVERY DAY FAITH
“For the past 15-months, we have been on the ground in Hugo listening to the community and we believe there is a desire for a community that offers people a place to pause and refuel for the every day” said Norsman.
“We are less concerned with how church was and more about what church is,” he added.
“We believe there is strength in community and that faith can be a vibrant part of the every day life” said Norsman. “Torgerson’s background as a professional musician, songwriter and worship leader will help create that experience.”
THE DEPOT- A PLACE TO REFUEL
Torgerson joins Pastor Brian Norsman and Pastor Jenny Sung as a dynamic team, bringing the message of grace and love to everyday life. Services, which begin this Sunday, September 16, are designed to be a place to stop and refuel for the week. With a mix of new and familiar songs, space to pause and reflect, The Depot Church welcomes everyone to the table.
The Depot Church services are held Sunday evenings at 5:15pm in Oneka Elementary School. The Depot Church is a part of the St. Andrew’s Community, which is led by Mike Carlson. For more information, visit www.thedepotchurch.org
